AOS-1 is intended for the express analysis of microconcentrations of organic substances in water, water solutions and organic extracts.
This may be used for:
- enviromental analysis;
- the control of high purity water;
- analysis in pharmaceutical and medical applications;
- for treatment of scentific etc.
This kit includes two instruments: the tensiometr (T-1), used for determination of surface-active substances (surfactants) and analyser (ASO-2), used for determination of general (soluble) organics.
Instrument T-1 uses the principle of change in dynamical surface tension (due to the surfactant on the liquid-gas interface) to evaluate the concentration and partially identify of surfactant. The instrument consists of a circular teflon through with a moving barrier and a sensing element (Wilhelm plate).
The limit of detection of a substance such as sintanol DC-10 is 1 ppb.Power: 220V. Dimension: 520*240*340 mm. Weight: 15 kg.
Instrument ASO-2 uses the principle of oxidation of organics in solution by impulce polarography on a platinumelectrode. The instrument consist of an electrochemical cell and an electronic unit, which controls the operation of the cell and analyses the results. This is allows the separation of easily, moderately and difficultly oxidized fractions.
